What is UnLitter USA?

  • Our UnLitter USA solution is an app that aims to educate and reward users to pick up and dispose of litter correctly, whilst stimulating the local economy.

    1. Attract consumers

      a. Let your customer base know that you’re now a participating merchant on the UnLitter USA app by posting on your social media. We can provide you with communication materials to do so. Please contact us, letting us know you would like access to these materials.

    2. Create voucher & offers

      a. Login to your merchant account and offer deals and discounts to consumers in the form of vouchers on the app. Consumers can then purchase these using their Circular Ucoins.

    3. Scan voucher QR code

      a. When a consumer presents you with their purchased voucher in-store, simply apply the deal/discount for the consumer and scan the QR code on the voucher to redeem the voucher and ensure it cannot be used again.

    4. Receive benefits

      a. Access new consumers through the UnLitter USA application whilst helping to keep your environment clean.

How do I participate?

Security

  • We have taken all reasonable steps to protect your personal information.

  • We have many ways that our system can detect fraud, both automatically and manually:

    • If any activity or transaction is flagged as suspicious, we will investigate further and may block the user’s account.
    • Anyone who violates our Terms and conditions will be notified and banned from further use. We reserve the right to report any fraud to the receptive authorities.
    • All transactions on our platform are closely monitored

Transactions, payments & financials

  • How does a purchase with Circular Ucoins work?

    As with any sales campaign you may run, you decide exactly what deals you’d like to offer UnLitter USA consumers. Simply login to your merchant account and navigate to the ‘My Vouchers’ page to begin creating vouchers to offer. Once approved, these offerd will then be displayed to consumers for purchase in the UnLitter USA consumer app.

    After purchase, consumers must then present this voucher to you in-store when redeeming the offer. You may either scan the QR code in your merchant webapp, enter the QR code number in your merchant webapp or ask the consumer to click ‘redeem now’ on their voucher. This will redeem the voucher and ensure it cannot be used on future occasions.

  • UnLitter USA does not require merchants to provide any financial information about their business.

  • You can find your merchant transaction history on your UnLitter USA merchant account. Once logged in, navigate to your ‘Transactions’ page to view all the vouchers that have been redeemed at your merchant since registering with UnLitter USA.

  • Should you be unable to scan the Qr code present on the consumer’s voucher, you may:

    1. Click the QR code button in the bottom right-hand side of the ‘Scan QR code’ page. This will allow you to manually input the QR code number, found underneath the QR code on the consumer’s voucher.
    2. Ask the consumer to click the ‘redeem now’ button located at the bottom of their voucher.

Team Management

  • Yes. We encourage you to do so, so that floor staff can scan QR codes on the consumer’s purchased vouchers. You can do this in one of two ways:

    1. Create each employee their own merchant account
    2. Create one account with which all employees can login and scan QR codes with, to accept vouchers from the UnLitter USA app.

  • If you are a merchant owner or leader, navigate to the ‘Manage Account’ page within your merchant account. Here you will see an ‘add account’ button. Click this to begin creating merchant leader and/or staff accounts, entering the required information for each.

  • There are 3 merchant user types:

    • Merchant owner
    • Merchant leader
    • Merchant staff

    • Merchant owners refers to the owner of the business. They are the account that originally registered the business on the UnLitter USA app, and have the highest authority, able to scan QR codes, edit company details, create vouchers and add both merchant leader and merchant staff accounts.
    • Merchant leader accounts may include managers of individual branches of the business. They can scan QR codes, create vouchers and add both merchant leader and merchant staff accounts. However, they are unable to edit company details.
    • Merchant staff accounts may include floor staff at the business and/or its various branches. They only have access to scan QR codes. They cannot edit any company details, create vouchers or add other merchant accounts.

  • If you are a merchant owner or leader, navigate to the ‘Manage Account’ page within your merchant account. Here you will see all the merchant leader and staff accounts in your UnLitter USA team. Simply click on the account you wish to delete, and select ‘Remove account’.

  • If you are a merchant owner or leader, navigate to the ‘Manage Account’ page within your merchant account. Here you will see all the merchant staff accounts in your UnLitter USA team. Simply click on the account you wish to reset the password for and select ‘Reset Password’. Follow the instructions and save the new password. Please then inform the employee of their new password.
